Sammy's Metropolitan Restaurant & Ballroom Cleveland, Ohio

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation

Sammy's Chairman & CEO Denise Fugo will be honored as a 2010 College of Diplomates inductee at the 23rd Annual Salute to Excellence by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Hilton Chicago.

The NRAEF College of Diplomates is a select group of restaurant and foodservice industry leaders who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to education and excellence in the restaurant industry and who embody the NRAEF's commitment to enhancing the restaurant industry's service to the public through education, community engagement, and promotion of career opportunities.

CBC Magazine:

Winner of the 2011 Connector's Choice Awards for Best On-Site Caterer. The Connector's Choice Award recognizes professionals in the corporate events industry in Northeast Ohio.

Winner of the 2010 Connector's Choice Awards for Best On-Site Caterer and Best Off-Site Caterer. The Connector's Choice Award recognizes professionals in the corporate events industry in Northeast Ohio.

Winner of the 2009 Connector's Choice Award for Best On-Site Caterer. The Connector's Choice Award recognizes professionals in the corporate events industry in Northeast Ohio.

Winner of the 2008 Connectors' Choice Award for Best On-Site Caterer. Corporate College East, one of Sammy's unique venues, was named Best Traditional Venue up to 300 people.

The Knot:

Named "Top Pick" among The Knot's exclusive list of caterers and venues.

The Taste of Solon:

Awarded "Best Entrée" for our pistachio crusted lamb chop with a garlic ginger glaze on cheesy polenta topped with a pomegranate aioli.

Fashion Week Cleveland:

Named Official Caterer of the week-long Fashion Week Cleveland celebration from May 2 through May 10, 2008.

Currents:

Its "Best Benefits of 2007" listed the top dozen charity and arts benefits in Northeast Ohio. Five were catered by Sammy's:
