Manor House at Squire Valleevue Farm

The stunning homestead of Andrew Squire, now a part of Case
Western Reserve University, provides a magnificent venue
for your next corporate, association, or social event. Located
in Hunting Valley off of Fairmount Boulevard, the Manor House
at Squire Valleevue Farm recreates the feel of a nineteenth
century English cottage, nestled in a wooded area on the
farmstead.
Donated to Case Western Reserve University in 1934, the
former University Presidents' home is now a bustling
destination for University and nonprofit related receptions,
meetings and retreats.
The Manor House accommodates up to 100 guests and has several
rooms for breakout space. The lawn off the front entrance
serves as a ceremony site for weddings or outdoor receptions.
The Manor House is perfect for the following events: corporate
and association meetings, wedding ceremonies, rehearsals,
receptions, benefits, retreats, training sessions, reunions,
afternoon teas and socials. Reservations are made up to one
year in advance. The house only accommodates one event per
day. Included in the rental is an eight hour reservation
period for the entire house, from 9am to 11pm. Alcohol is
permitted on the premises with the appropriate permit.
To secure your space at the Manor House, you must be an
alumnus, employee, or have a direct association with Case

Rooms Included With House Rental
Great Room
This beautiful space, reminiscent
of 19th century English cottage parlor, is perfect
for any seated reception or meeting. The Great Room offers
vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, a wood burning
fireplace, original hard wood floors and floor-to-ceiling
windows on the south wall.

Dining Room:
The Dining Room, located down the hall from
the Great Room, is ideal for a breakout room or private
dinner. This charming room has pastel yellow walls with
white trim, two columns and an alcove seating area. The
long conference table seats eight to twelve or can be
converted into a buffet table.
Foyer:
As you walk into the Manor House through the main
entrance, you are greeted in the Foyer. The hallway directly
in front of you leads to the Dining Room, and the hallway
to your right ends at the Front Room. The Great Room
is on your left. The stairway to the second floor is perfect
for a grand entrance for the bride, or serves as a great
photo opportunity. The upstairs rooms are also available,
and can be used for bridal rooms or for children's
play area with proper supervision.
Front Room:
The Front Room has windows looking out to the
patio and lawn. It also has wheelchair access to the
patio and a handicap accessible restroom. This area can
be used for a cocktail and hors-d’oeuvres reception
area, or for breakout space.
Library:
The Library in the northeast corner of the house
provides an additional seating area for your special event.

Basement:
The newly restored basement has new carpeting, a pool
table, and a cozy area for a bar set-up. The basement is
a great place to break from the festivities and enjoy some
quality time with friends or associates in a relaxed environment.
