Dine with the dinosaurs at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History! Founded in 1920, this 200,000 square foot facility offers an interactive and creative venue for your guests to enjoy.

Home to many archeological specimens, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History provides temporary and permanent exhibits, a planetarium, a living courtyard and gardens, a collection of precious gems and many exhibition halls. For a more intimate affair, the precious gems collection is ideal for small groups. The auditorium is also available for meetings and conferences.

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is ideal for corporate events, wedding receptions, b'nai mitzvah celebrations, and benefits. Rental charges are based on the number of guests. Admission, parking and after-hours access to most exhibit halls in the Museum are included with the rental. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History can accommodate up to 1,000 guests maximum. All rentals begin at 5 p.m. and last till midnight.

Rooms Included With Rental Charge

Sears Hall

Fits 15 72" round tables. A great space for a cocktail reception, hors d'oeuvres or dessert buffet. Dancing on carpeted floor is permitted.

Kirtland Hall of Prehistoric Life

Main hall holds up to 300 guests seated and can hold a dance floor, or guests can dance directly on the surface. Perfect for any reception, served sit-down dinner, or buffet.

Reinberger Hall of Earth & Planetary Exploration

Guests will enjoy browsing this interactive space.

Kahn Hall

This exhibit hall remains open during your event. No food or beverages are allowed in this space.

Fawick Gallery

This small exhibit hall is also available with the rental charge.

Smith Environmental Courtyard

Enjoy walking paths, rock gardens and a pond. Food, beverage, and smoking are not permitted in the courtyard per Museum policy.

Perkins Wildlife Center & Woods Gardens

Open year round, this space features outdoor exhibits, live animals and indigenous plants and animals. Food, beverage and smoking are not permitted.

Rooms Available for an Additional Charge

Murch Auditorium

The Murch Auditorium seats 500 people and has a large stage ideal for artistic performances, speakers or film showings. The Auditorium is available for daytime and evening rental and includes lectern, microphone and screen: Steinway Baby Grand Piano available for additional charge.

Shafran Planetarium

Available for an additional $3 per guest, the Shafran Planetarium seats 87 people and offers a 25 minute-long showing. With the rental of the Planetarium, shows can be offered to your guests in half-hour increments.

Wade Gallery of Gems & Jewels

Great space to use for cocktailing, wine tastings or dessert buffets. Observe beautiful jewels from all over the world in an elegant, cozy atmosphere.
